So I just had my first day of registry training, aside from a few mishaps (the main one being that I forgot to give a customer their change - it didn't take much to sort out though) I think it went pretty well.

I'm going back in tomorrow 9:30am - 12:30pm to do more registry training. Initially it was only today that I was going in but when I went to clock off Doug asked me if my supervisor for my training had asked me to go in for more training and when I said that she hadn't he told me to come in tomorrow.

And I've also been put on for next Thursday 6:00pm-10:00pm, I'm not complaining because it means more money but the entire weekend will be pretty busy for me since the Toy Sales usually pretty big and I'll be on registers for them. Initially he wanted me to do next Thursday all day but when I told him that I had TAFE that day and that I'd be finished after 4pm, he put be on for the evening. All I had to do today was clarify that I'd be working then because I only expected to be working Friday, Saturday and Sunday.

Oh well, I probably won't get this amount of steady work until the Christmas holidays so I'm going to take advantage of what I get now.

I went into Target today to find out if I had any more shifts since the Toy Sale is on next week and I was told to expect more work than.

I ended up running into my supervisor (or at least my main one) and he told me that he had shifts for me to do next week.

So this Friday I'll be doing registry training 2pm - 5pm and then the following week I'll be working Friday 8:00am - 6:00pm, Saturday 9:00am - 5:00pm and Sunday 9:00am - 5:00pm. Initially he wanted me to do the training tomorrow (Thursday) and work all day next Thursday but next Thursday is when I'm at TAFE so he pushed it back til Friday.

But at least I have more shifts, yay!
