So I'm now going to be playing four characters at fandomhigh. The latest character I applied for, Andros from Power Rangers in Space, was accepted so my character list is Naomi Wildman, Liz Sherman, Geordi LaForge and Andros.

So I've now reached my four character limit, which means it will be a while before I can apply any new characters but this is probably a good thing since I don't think I could manage any more than four characters at a time.

I figured I should finally get round to updating this thing.

Well the first main thing is that I'm not going back to uni, my results being what they were and all. I'm a little disappointed but I do have a back up plan, which entails me working for 12 months (after I find a job) and then going to tafe for 2008 (possibly doing a business certificate). I'm hoping to go back to uni as a mature aged student in 2009 because I still want my degree, its just going to take a while longer to get it.

Second thing is Christmas, which was pretty quiet this year because dad was working Christmas day so we just had a lunch as a family. I got an mp3 player, which was the main thing that I wanted this year. I had a bit of trouble with it because when I first put the songs on they jumped at certain points in them but dad changed the song format and so far it seems to be working. Hopefully when I put more songs on it they will still work. Other things that I got were money and I got the very best of Billy Joel CD. We had a Boxing Day lunch at my cousins place, and we didn't end up leaving until a quarter to six in the afternoon because dad was helping uncle Ron put this weather device thingy on the roof, so we were there for the majority of yesterday.

I've been getting out of the house a bit, which is good. I went to my friend Bec's 19th party at La Perchettas (I don't know how to spell that) on the 16th of December, last week I spent an hour and a half or so downtown shopping with my friend Naomi and today I went to a barbeque at her place along with a couple of other friends (Bec and Paul). Tomorrow I'm going Ten Pin Bowling with them, which should be interesting.

And finally the two characters that I applied for at fandomhigh were accepted. This means next semester in addition to playing Naomi Wildman I'll also be playing Liz Sherman from Hellboy as a student and I'll be playing Geordi La Forge from Star Trek: The Next Generation and Geordi will be teaching Engineering (I do not know what possessed me to apply Geordi as an Engineering professor, I just found myself applying to play a teacher). Next semester is going to be interesting.

An update of sorts ...

Nano so totally didn't end up happening this year. It wasn't entirely my fault *looks innocent*

I don't normally mention a lot about politics in here but I'm so glad Kevin Rudd is the new opposition leader. As much as I felt sorry about Kim Beazley for the way that he went out, I wasn't very fond of him as a leader. Actually I'm not fond of most politicians but I don't want to get into a political rant, I'll save that for the elections next year.

And I also don't mention a lot about sports in here either but ... wow! Australia made a complete comeback in the second Ashes cricket test. I seriously thought England was going to win, or at least draw, which is what everyone else apparently thought but the Aussies won so yay!

And finally I went completely crazy (more so than usual) and I applied to role play a new student and a new teacher at Fandom High. If they're both accepted, along with the character that I've already got in play, it's going to be an insane semester.
